Founder & Director of Training

Alexis Dean isn’t your typical facilitator —she’s a team whisperer, trust builder, community architect, and master facilitator who’s spent 20+ years helping leaders cut through the noise and build high-performing teams that actually work.

As the founder of Two Roads Team Building and Training, Alexis has led Fortune 100 companies, banks, universities, and organizations worldwide through soft skills training and experiential team-building experiences that go far beyond trust falls and awkward icebreakers.

Her approach? Make leadership real, make teamwork make sense, and make sure people walk away with tools they actually use.

In 2018, she founded The Dovetail Community, now the go-to mastermind and retreat hub for highly accomplished, impact-driven women entrepreneurs. With curated in-person and online events in stunning locations across North America, Dovetail is where brilliant women come to connect, collaborate, and grow—not just in business, but in life.

Alexis holds degrees from The University Of British Columbia, Queen’s University, and a postgraduate from the University of Toronto, but her real expertise comes from two decades in the trenches, transforming how leaders build trust, navigate conflict, and bring out the best in their teams.

Drawing from his 120 day cross-Canada canoe expedition, Scott’s keynotes offer practical insights on navigating uncertainty, fostering resilience, and leading with purpose. Whether working with executives, meeting planners, or corporate teams, he delivers engaging, experience-driven learning that makes an impact long after the session ends.

Scott holds degrees from Queen’s University and Trent University, and has an extensive background in education, wilderness leadership, and experiential learning, Scott has spent decades leading teams in dynamic, high-stakes environments. His expertise lies in helping organizations translate adventure-based leadership principles into actionable strategies that drive real results. From Fortune 500 companies to growing businesses, his work is built on one core belief: strong teams don’t happen by chance—they’re built with intention.
